One of the most diverse divisions at the Sheriff’s Office is Staff
Services, which includes everything from keeping our patrol cars on
the road and in good working order to ensuring weapons and uniforms
are on hand and ready for new hires. Computers, crime analysis
and community affairs are also under the Staff Services Division.
The Fleet Maintenance Section maintains all agency vehicles.
Three full-time mechanics perform preventative maintenance
daily on the agency’s fleet, which includes automobiles, boats and
specialty equipment. In addition to auto repair, these men can
fabricate, weld and tackle most major repairs when needed.
Computer Services keeps the Sheriff’s Office one of the most
technologically advanced agencies across the state. This unit
maintains all agency computers, including laptops and Global
Positioning Systems in all patrol cars.
The Purchasing Unit maintains ample law enforcement supplies for the
troops, and the Inventory and Property Unit conducts an annual
inventory of issued equipment.
Buildings and grounds are kept clean and maintained by our Building
Maintenance Section, which also assists all divisions with special
projects.

The Crime Analysis unit tracks and maintains all crime and traffic
statistics for the agency. Law enforcement personnel rely on
this unit for current photos of wanted subjects and composite sketches
when victims describe an unknown suspect.
