Director, Information Technology
William began his career at the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office in May of 2015. As a valued member of the Sheriff’s Command Staff, he serves as the Director of Information Technology. William encompasses nearly twenty years of technical and managerial experience. He is a strong proponent of education, having received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and is currently pursuing his Master's in Public Administration and Leadership from The Ohio State University.
As the Division Commander, William prioritizes investing in his staff by offering further educational and professional development opportunities. He believes that creating a positive culture and inspiring staff in the workplace begins with a competent, trustworthy leader. Through his leadership style, William has created an enjoyable work environment centered on positive reinforcement and exceeding expectations.
William is a firm believer in leveraging technology to improve lives and increase operational efficiency. He aims to enhance the performance of agency personnel by embracing new and innovative technologies. William is an advocate for exceptional customer service and believes that the purpose of all technical staff members is to provide a bridge between people and technology.
A Citrus County resident for nearly 30 years, William gives back to his community by volunteering with local middle and high school band programs, youth music education programs, and non-profit organizations.
