DEPUTY CRISAFI-SCHANEL OFFICIALLY RETIRES
(Citrus County, FL) After selflessly serving her community for nearly 17 years, Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) Deputy Andra Crisafi-Schanel is officially hanging up her duty belt.
Deputy Crisafi-Schanel began her public service career with CCSO on November 1, 2004, as a Deputy Sheriff. Her training in multifaceted concepts such as Sex Crime Investigations and Contraband Interdiction has proven invaluable to Citrus County citizens.
In 2015, Deputy Crisafi-Schanel was awarded a Certificate of Commendation for her keen observation skills and attention to detail in discovering a grand theft and recovering the stolen property before the victim was even aware of the crime. A year later, she was presented with CCSO’s Life-Saving Award to recognize her heroic efforts to render immediate aid and revival tactics to save an individual suffering from cardiac arrest. Furthermore, Deputy Crisafi-Schanel assisted in Operation Coin Toss, a successful yearlong campaign targeting drug dealers in Citrus County, where she received a Certificate of Commendation for her integral role.
