SGT. EVAN MARSHALL GRADUATES FROM THE 145TH SPI ADMIN OFFICER COURSE
(Citrus County, FL) Sgt. Evan Marshall recently completed an intensive 12-week accredited college educational program for police command personnel at the Southern Police Institute, University of Louisville, Louisville, KY. The 145th Administrative Officers Course included courses on leadership, police administration, legal issues, and organizational performance and behavior.
“We are proud of Sergeant Marshall’s accomplishment today, graduates of the Administrative Officers Course are well-positioned to help improve their communities and their organizations,” said Sheriff Prendergast. “The knowledge he brings back will help to further us along in our mission in making Citrus County the safest community in Florida.”
The Administrative Officers Course’s curriculum is designed to develop: informed, effective, ethical, and competent law enforcement managers who are assuming positions of leadership. This comprehensive development program provides instruction on law enforcement issues, diagnostic problem solving, and administrative law. The varied methods of instruction used by the college permits students from across the nation, to engage their creativity and initiative through the analytical examination of issues and problems faced by contemporary law enforcement executives.
